About the braggart post: you do a good job defending your position; however, I might suggest that in Beowulf's own words, he says, "I mean no boast . . ." 27/30
In addition, in your second answer to the post you state a more clear position and show that based on the text, Beowulf is considered a hero by the people. Amended grade = 30/30:-)
thanks Mrs. Hosch!! i u nderstand the braggart and the quote along with it, but he does still seem boastful and "above" the others...like when people say "no offense" it usually means they want a free pass go and $200 for their effort in getting away with saying something offensive.. if it wasn't ofensive, tey wouldn't say"no ofense" so that's where i came from on that... 2 different things to look for i guess. :)
